Finances

 Brandon and I love talking about money and budget planning. We have slimmed down our budget SO much but are still trying to squeese more money out of it. We decided to try out the cash system. I made this fabric envelope with 11 pockets. Cute huh?

These are things that we've done to help out so far...

no cable
no cell phones
no netflix
no car payment
no debt (except recent school loans)
food...no soda, little fast food

Ok, here we go. We bought a house, moved, packing, unpacking, Atti unpotty trained, trying to REpotty train, working on finances, lots of pictures, no time to post them, chickens, 3 bed/2 bath, love having my own bathroom, Brandon started fall semester, miss him, lost 9 lbs in 4 weeks, Brandon lost 10, Brinna is 4 months old today, 17lbs and 95%, learned to coupon, saving and stocking up on food, chores, more chores, trampoline, love it, new calling, teaching 11 year olds and loving it, learning to have fun and not worry, loving living out of town, the kids make me laugh, and yell, preschool starts this week for Nix, I want to go to the temple, badly.

FHE

We had a really great FHE and I just had to share. We talked about the "recipe" for a happy home. We ended up making a batch of yummy cookies with the good things and a bowl of "yuck" with the bad things. SO FUN!!

We used grass, laundry soap, rocks, lint, chicken pellets and q tips for the yuck.

Thornewood Wedding

 We went to Seattle area for the weekend for Devon and Lindsay's wedding reception and open house and we really enjoyed it! They were marrid in the Rexburg Temple April 29 but wanted a reception at the castle. It was SO beautiful there that I had a hard time putting down my camera!!
