 Phoenix has really been wanting to learn to crochet. I decided to teach her to make this scarf. All you do is weave the yarn around your 4 fingers until there are 2 strands and take the bottom one over your finger. Then weave more around your fingers until you have a scarf! Then I made this hat to match.

 Atti informed us that he looks like a girl with curly hair and acked for hair like daddy. He is so handsome!!!

 A few days ago I put colored water in balloons and set them out to freeze. Well it's not cold enough so they are using them as bowls for their orange juice. They can have fun with anything!

 So while I was helping with the water balloons Brinna was helping herself to some oatmeal!! YUM!! She looked so cute!

Ballet Recital

 The kids had their first ballet recital last Tuesday.They were so excited! I was super nervous that Atti wouldn't want to go on stage but he did great. I had to laugh because he picked his nose a few times and Phoenix looked at the audience and got the "deer in headlights" look for a second but other then that they did great!!! They have another big recital in the spring and I'm excited to see it!!

December Madness, Part 2

 Atticus is 3!!! I made him the funniest dinosaur cake! haha. He loved it.

 Brinna loved it too!

 While The kids stayed with Grandma and grandpa the week before Christmas and Brandon was in WI I had a lot of time to play with Brinna. I just loved these pics of all the little faces she makes.

December Madness, Part 1

 Ok so I have not blogged in FOREVER!! Ok so just a month but even before that it wasn't very good. Some of the reason is because we've been so busy that I have not had time but also because there are some things that have been happening that I didn't want to get out till later.

 I have spent a lot of time this month laughing with the kids. They seem to have changed a lot because they are always saying something to make me smile...or cringe. (I wish I could think of an example right now but this is why I should blog better.)

 I decided to make little leg warmers for dance!

 Oh yeah...and we got Atti totally potty trained! YAY! It took about 2 weeks and hardly any accidents. He even potty trained at night too!

 The kids got to see Santa at the ward party. So about Santa,... Last year Nix asked why she has to sit on Santa's lap. I decided to spill the beans. They now know that he is fake but a real symbol of giving. And..I don't make him sit on his lap and I don't like them to ask for presents.

As for the things that we were waiting to talk about...Brandon had an interview for a job promotion with McCain Foods in Wisconsin. We went through it all and he even went there. We couldn't decide whether it was best or not. We felt that both would be good. In the end we decided to stay here one more year till he's done with his MBA. I told him that if we stay here I want to paint and decorate and really feel at home here. I'm SO excited!

We finished painting the living room but still need to finish decorating. I'll post a pic when we're done.
